Discover Grado and Marano Lagunare by Sea and Lagoon

From June 1st to October 12th, 2025, the seasonal ferry connections from Lignano Sabbiadoro are running again — a perfect way to explore the Friuli Venezia Giulia coast in a sustainable, relaxing, and nature-friendly way.

Lignano – Grado Route

This maritime route connects two of the most popular seaside resorts in the region, offering a scenic journey through unique marine and lagoon landscapes. Cyclists are especially welcome: bikes can be transported onboard, making it easy to combine boat travel with rides along the many coastal and inland cycling routes.

Lignano – Marano Lagunare Route

The seasonal ferry between Lignano and Marano is a pleasant and practical option for those arriving from inland areas. The boat is equipped with a dedicated space for bikes (with limited capacity), making it ideal for cycling enthusiasts.

Some seats can be booked in advance for fixed dates — a recommended option for group travelers or passengers with bicycles.
