Festa delle cape

Lignano Sabbiadoro’s most anticipated spring event is the traditional “Festa delle cape“ (Festival of Shellfish). The Festival of Shellfish 2025 will be held at Marcello d’Olivo Square in Lignano Pineta on Saturday and Sunday lunches and dinners March 8-9 and March 15-16, 2025 with hours from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The purpose of the event is to introduce the seafood products of the Adriatic Sea to residents and tourists, but most importantly to donate the proceeds to charity.

On the menu are classic traditional dishes such as long hoods (cannolicchi), pevarasse (clams), grilled sardines, sarde impannate, sarde in saor, calamari and other local specialties.
